Financial Policies / Tuition Rates 2017-2018

.It is the intent of the school to make Christian education available to as many students as desire it. To that end we have tried to keep tuition charges as low as possible. The total cost of operating the school is not met in total by tuition; the members of the Seventh-day Adventist churches in this area have chosen to invest large sums of money for the support of our school. For this reason, constituent church member tuition is lower than non-constituent tuition. The following financial policies have been adopted by the School Board.
 
General Policies

  1. The account for the previous year’s expenses at the school must be settled before the student is permitted to enter for the current school year. Any delinquent account remaining from siblings who attended the school must be settled before another child is admitted. A student owing an account at another school shall not be accepted until the account is paid or satisfactory arrangements are made with the former school. If we become aware that a student has an outstanding account in a former school, after the student has been enrolled, we will require that satisfactory arrangements be made with the former school in order to continue enrollment in our school.

  2. When student accounts become 15 days past due, the office will notify the parents by phone/statement. If the account is not cleared within 30 days, the account will be turned over to the Finance Committee and the parents will receive a call stating that their account must be cleared within 10 days or the student will be dropped, or an interruption in the student’s attendance will be necessary.

  3. Payments are due on the first of the month and delinquent after the 15th.

  4. For students who register late or withdraw early, tuition will be prorated for the month in which they enter or leave.

  5. The yearly tuition is divided into ten payments, beginning in August and continuing through May.

  6. Accounts (which includes tuition, extended care, fees and fines, etc.) must be paid in full before students will be allowed to participate in 8th grade graduation exercise at the end of the year.

The first payment is due at registration and the following nine payments are due on the first of each month, September 1st through May 1st. Payment is due on the 1st of each month and delinquent after the 15th.

In order to assist parents having more than one child enrolled either here or at Lodi Academy, the following monthly discounts are made for each child at Lodi SDA Elementary:
